G-Sport's "Grinds, Lovely, Anti, Nagging, Device" (GLAND) The G.L.A.N.D.is actually made from proprietary plastic to keep the weight low and spread impacts evenly whilst grinding with as little resistance as possible. The G.L.A.N.D. MkIV is fixed to the spokes via cable ties or nylon webbing using the unique bobbles to keep the guard central and fixed.
