Using the patented Wethepeople BMX “HYBRID” Freecoaster system it creates a totally new type of freecoaster hub that functions unlike anything else. Fully convertible into a regular cassette hub with no extra parts.


Based on a similar construction to a regular cassette hub, the Radio Sonar Freecoaster Hub offers a super lightweight, simple-to-adjust Freecoaster hub with the durability advantages of a cassette hub. With a much larger (and fully adjustable) slack system, and a “MagnaDrive” magnetic pawl retention system, the Sonar Freecoaster requires little to no maintenance compared to the heavy and unreliable clutch-style freecoasters of the past. On top of that, it helps to eliminate pedal kickback on full-suspension bikes.


Despite the advantages of a Freecoaster hub, the Sonar Freecoaster Hub weighs 33% less than most Freecoaster hubs and offers zero friction and resistance making it one of the smoothest and fastest rolling hubs out there, no matter if you’re going forwards or backwards.
